What is incubating here? Incubation is a lamp that combines organic warmth, intimacy, and the fantastic. The hemispherical glass form, painted in warm red and orange tones on the inside, is reminiscent of a belly cavity, skin, or an inner, living space. Embedded in a white concrete shell, a harmonious tension arises between the smooth, cool outer shell and the lively, organic inner world. With Incubation, I want to explore the relationship between interior and exterior space, materiality and physicality. The project combines sensual experience and visual aesthetics.
